Whack A Fluffy Slot Review: Mallets and a 500x Pick Feature

Our verdict in brief

Whack A Fluffy keeps the series' toy-box spirit but swaps the claw for a mallet in its pick game, and it raises the stakes of that feature considerably. Eyecon's page says the Whack-A-Fluffy feature can multiply your stake up to 500 times, five times the 100x per-pick ceiling of the classic games. The free games follow the familiar 15, 20 or 25 pattern with tripled line wins. It suits players who like the classic structure but want a pick feature with a higher ceiling. As always with a top figure, treat 500x as the rare end of the range.

This review is based on Eyecon's official Whack A Fluffy page.

The facts

Eyecon lists the game with 25 ways rather than paylines, though the free games rule refers to the paylines of the triggering game. We quote both as Eyecon gives them; the in-game rules screen is the place to confirm how wins are counted in the version you play.

The Whack-A-Fluffy feature

Three or more scattered Mallet symbols anywhere on the reels start Whack-A-Fluffy. You receive one pick for each Mallet in the triggering combination. Eyecon describes the feature as able to multiply your stake up to 500x.

Two cautions keep that number in proportion. First, 500x is a maximum, and Eyecon publishes no average or frequency for the feature. Second, the page describes the feature's potential rather than the value of each pick, so we do not assume every pick can reach the top figure. What is clear is the trigger and the pick count, which work like the rest of the series: more Mallets, more picks.

Free games

Three scattered Elephants award 15 free games, four award 20 and five award 25. Line win prizes are tripled during the feature, which uses the same wager as the triggering game. Retriggers are possible up to 15 times. The package will feel familiar to anyone who has played the original.

The Elephant's two jobs

In Whack A Fluffy the Elephant does double duty. It is the scatter that starts the free games, and it also substitutes for all symbols except the scattered Mallets. Keeping the Mallets out of the substitute's reach means the pick feature starts only from genuine Mallet scatters.

Playing the demo

Eyecon's free Whack A Fluffy demo opens from the panel at the top of this page once you confirm you are 18 or over. It runs on virtual credit with nothing to win or lose. Look for the Mallet first, since it is the symbol unique to this game, then open the rules to check how the version you are playing counts its wins.

How it compares

Next to the original Fluffy Favourites, the free games are the same and the pick game is the difference: Claws and a 100x ceiling per pick there, Mallets and a stated 500x potential here. Next to Fluffy Favourites 10 and Clawmania, it is the one that changes the pick game's scale rather than the frame or the feature type. Our guide to Fluffy pick bonuses sets every pick game side by side.

Things to know before playing for real

A higher feature ceiling usually comes with more variance, and Eyecon lists the game as high volatility. Expect long stretches without the feature and plan your budget accordingly. Check whether the casino runs the 95% or 93% version.

Summary

Whack A Fluffy is a high-volatility Eyecon slot listed as a 3x5 game with 25 ways. Three or more Mallets start Whack-A-Fluffy, with one pick per Mallet and a stated potential of up to 500 times the stake, and three to five Elephants award 15, 20 or 25 free games with tripled line wins. Eyecon offers it at 93% or 95%. More reviews are on our Fluffy Favourites games page.
