Fluffy Favourites 10 Review: The Classic on Ten Lines

Our verdict in brief

Fluffy Favourites 10 is the original game on a narrower frame. It keeps the five reels and three rows, the Toybox-style pick game from Claws and the free games with tripled wins, but pays on ten fixed lines instead of 25. Eyecon rates its gameplay "hard" and its volatility high. For players who know the original, the main thing to understand is how fewer lines change the way wins land. For newcomers, the 25-line original is the gentler place to start.

Fluffy Favourites 10 in numbers

What ten fixed lines mean

A payline is a path across the reels along which matching symbols pay. With 25 lines, many patterns on the grid count; with ten, fewer do, so a screen that would have paid on the original may pay nothing here. "Fixed" means you cannot switch lines off: every spin plays all ten.

Eyecon publishes no paytable values on the game page, so we cannot say how the line wins are rebalanced against the original's. What we can say is that the scatter features are unaffected, because scatters pay or trigger wherever they land, not along lines.

The Toy Box Prize Pick

Three or more scattered Claws anywhere on the reels start the Toy Box Prize Pick. You receive one pick per Claw, and each pick can award up to 100 times the total wager, exactly as in the original's Toybox Pick Bonus. Because the trigger is a scatter, the narrower line set does not make this feature any harder to start.

The free games

Pink Elephant scatters start the free games: 15 for three, 20 for four and 25 for five. Line wins are tripled during the feature, and it can be reactivated up to 15 times. The tripling applies to the ten lines, so the same point about line coverage holds inside the feature.

The substitute

The Elephant substitutes for all symbols except the scatters, and prizes are doubled when the Elephant forms a win by substituting. With only ten lines, each substitute that completes a line carries a little more weight in the overall picture, though Eyecon does not publish figures that would let anyone quantify that.

Trying it in the demo

Eyecon's free demo of Fluffy Favourites 10 opens from the panel at the top of this page after you confirm you are 18 or over. It plays with virtual credit. Open the paytable first and look at the line diagram: seeing the ten paths drawn out is the quickest way to understand how this game differs from the original. Then play a few spins and watch which patterns pay.

Fluffy Favourites 10 beside its siblings

The original Fluffy Favourites and Fluffy Favourites Remastered use the same two features on 25 lines; this game uses them on ten. Whack A Fluffy is listed on a 25-ways frame with a much larger pick ceiling, and Clawmania uses 20 lines with no pick game at all. If you want the classic features with the most familiar line set, choose the original; if you want them on a tighter frame, this is the one.

Before you play for real

High volatility and fixed lines together suggest patience: features carry much of the potential, and they can be slow to arrive. Check the return-to-player setting on the casino's rules screen, because the 95% and 93% versions look identical in play. Set your limits before you start.

Summary

Fluffy Favourites 10 is a high-volatility Eyecon slot that runs the original's features, a Toy Box Prize Pick from three or more Claws worth up to 100 times the wager per pick and 15, 20 or 25 free games with tripled line wins, on ten fixed paylines. Eyecon offers it at 95% or 93%. See the rest of the series on our Fluffy Favourites games page.
