Fluffy Favourites Clawmania Review: The Claw and the Free-Spin Wheel

Our verdict in brief

Fluffy Favourites Clawmania puts the series' best-known prop, the claw, at the centre of the base game instead of saving it for a bonus. After any spin that shows an Elephant, the Claw may activate and drop extra Elephant symbols onto the reels. The free games are different too: a wheel decides both how many spins you get and the multiplier on every prize. Eyecon lists it at medium volatility on 20 lines, which makes it one of the gentler-rhythm games in the family. It suits players who like features that can appear during ordinary spins; it has no pick game, so it will not suit those who come for one.

Every rule in this review is from Eyecon's official Clawmania page.

Clawmania at a glance

Eyecon gives a maximum exposure here rather than a maximum win. We read it as the most the game can pay on a single spin relative to the stake, a ceiling that very few spins approach.

The Claw feature

The Claw is the game's signature. After any spin with an Elephant symbol in view, the Claw may activate. When it does, one or more extra Elephant symbols are added to the reels, in any position. During the free games, any spin can activate the Claw, whether or not an Elephant has landed.

Eyecon's page does not say how often the Claw activates or exactly what the added Elephants do in each position, so we will not guess. The practical reading is simple: more Elephants on screen can help complete wins and, because Elephants also trigger the free games, the Claw is worth watching on every spin.

Free games and the wheel

Three or more scattered Elephants anywhere on the reels start the free games, and a wheel spin sets their terms. The wheel awards 8, 10, 12, 15 or 20 free spins, with a multiplier of 2, 3 or 5 applied to all prizes during the feature. Landing three or more scatters again during the free games awards more spins at the current multiplier, up to 15 times. The free games use the same bet as the triggering spin.

That structure is unlike the classic games' fixed 15, 20 or 25 spins with tripled line wins. Here the round can be short with a high multiplier, long with a low one, or anything between. Eyecon's own summary describes it as up to 20 free spins and up to a 5x multiplier.

Reading the demo

Eyecon's free Clawmania demo opens from the panel at the top of this page after you confirm you are 18 or over. It plays on virtual credit. Use it to see the Claw in action, since a feature that adds symbols mid-game is easier to understand on screen than in a rules list, and to watch how the wheel presents its spin and multiplier combinations.

Clawmania within the series

Despite the name, Clawmania has no claw-machine pick game: the claw in this game adds symbols rather than picking prizes. That puts it alongside Fluffy in Space, the Megaways edition and Fluffy Fishin' as the games that break from the pick-bonus formula. For the classic claw-machine pick, play the original Fluffy Favourites or Fluffy Favourites 10.

Points to weigh

Medium volatility suggests a steadier rhythm than the high-volatility classic games, but it is still a game of chance with a long-run average below 100%. The maximum exposure of 1,200x is a cap, not a target. The 93% and 95% versions look the same in play, so check the casino's rules screen.

Summary

Fluffy Favourites Clawmania is a medium-volatility, 20-line Eyecon slot. Its Claw can add extra Elephants after spins that show one, and in every free spin; three or more Elephants spin a wheel for 8 to 20 free spins with a 2x, 3x or 5x multiplier on all prizes. Eyecon lists a maximum exposure of 1,200 times the stake. Every Fluffy title is reviewed on our Fluffy Favourites games page.
