Our verdict in brief
Fluffy in Space is the first Fluffy game on this list that asks you to learn something genuinely new. The frame is familiar, five reels and 25 lines, but the pick bonus is gone. In its place is a feature that splits the reels into fifteen separate ones and holds Nellie symbols while the rest respin. Eyecon also lists a single 96% return to player, higher than the classic games' 95% or 93%. It is the best choice in the series for players who enjoy hold-and-respin features, and the least familiar one for players who come for the pick games.
Everything below is drawn from Eyecon's official Fluffy in Space page.
Specification
| Detail | What Eyecon lists |

| Volatility | High |

Unlike most of the series, Eyecon lists only one return-to-player figure here. A long-run average is still only an average, and it says nothing about a single session.
The Fluffy in Space feature
This is the heart of the game. Three or more Nellie symbols start it, and the five reels split into 15 individual reels, one for each position on the grid. You receive three free spins. Each Nellie that lands adds one more free spin and holds its position, while the other reels spin again.
In practice that means the feature can extend itself. Every new Nellie both stays in place and buys another spin, so a run that keeps landing Nellies keeps going. Eyecon's page does not publish what a full grid pays or a maximum win for the feature, so we do not quote one. The demo is the place to see how it resolves.
If you have played hold-and-respin games from other studios, the idea will feel familiar. If you have only played the classic Fluffy games, give it a few rounds in the demo before judging it, because it plays very differently from a pick bonus.
Free games from Planets
Three or more scattered Planet symbols trigger the free games. Eyecon's page confirms the trigger but does not state how many free games are awarded, so check the paytable in the version you play rather than assuming the classic 15, 20 or 25.
The wild
The wild substitutes for all symbols except the scattered Planets and the Nellie symbols. Both exclusions protect the features: a wild that could complete a Nellie trigger or a Planet scatter would change how often each one starts.
Trying the demo
Eyecon publishes a free demo of Fluffy in Space. Open it from the panel at the top of this page after confirming you are 18 or over; it plays with virtual credit only. Use it to watch the reels split and to count how Nellies add spins, because that is the one rule the game depends on. Also open the paytable to find the free game award that Eyecon's page leaves out.
How it differs from the rest of the series
Compared with Fluffy Too and the other classic games, Fluffy in Space keeps the frame and the lines but swaps the pick bonus for respins, uses Planets instead of Pink Elephants for its free games and lists a single 96% figure. We set the two side by side in Fluffy Too and Fluffy in Space compared. It is also one of the few games in the family without any pick feature, alongside the Megaways edition, Clawmania and Fluffy Fishin'.
Who it suits
Choose Fluffy in Space if you want the series' look with a hold-and-respin feature, or if a single published return-to-player figure matters to you. Stay with the classic games if the pick bonus is what you enjoy about Fluffy.
Summary
Fluffy in Space is a high-volatility, five-reel, 25-line Eyecon slot with a 96% return to player. Three or more Nellies split the reels into 15 and award three free spins, with each new Nellie adding a spin and holding; three or more Planets trigger free games.
