Eyecon and the Fluffy Favourites Family: Shared Features

The studio and what this guide covers
Every game in the Fluffy Favourites family is made by Eyecon, a slot studio whose own website describes it as a leader of the UK slots market. That is the studio's description of itself rather than an independent ranking, but it tells you where Eyecon's focus lies. This guide looks at the studio behind the series, the features its Fluffy games share and the places where individual titles break from the pattern.

Eyecon in brief
| Detail | What the sources show |
|---|---|
| Studio | Eyecon |
| 2017 acquisition | Playtech agreed to buy Eyecon in a deal reported in February 2017 at £50m, including £25m in cash; we have not checked later changes of ownership |
| Focus at the time of the deal | Reported as having a particular focus on bingo audiences, with a portfolio of more than 70 games |
| Demos | Eyecon's website hosts demos and states they are for demonstration only, with no winnings payable |
The 2017 report also described Fluffy Favourites as a game in which players try to win cuddly toys, which is still the clearest one-line summary of the series. The bingo connection explains a lot about the games' style: bright, friendly themes and features built around simple picks rather than complicated rules.
The features most Fluffy games share
Read Eyecon's game pages one after another and a family pattern appears. Fluffy Favourites, Fluffy Too, Fluffy Favourites Fairground, Fluffy Favourites Mix 'n' Win and Fluffy Favourites Remastered all share:
- the same frame: five reels, three rows and 25 paylines;
- the same free games: three, four or five Pink Elephant scatters award 15, 20 or 25 free games, with line wins tripled and up to 15 retriggers;
- a doubling substitute: the elephant character stands in for other symbols and doubles prizes when it does;
- a pick bonus: a scatter-triggered feature giving one pick per trigger symbol, with each pick worth up to 100 times the total stake;
- the same return-to-player options: 95% or 93%, with the demo at 95%.
What changes between these five is mostly the pick bonus: the Toybox Pick from Claws in the original and the Remastered edition, a Coin Pusher from Coins in Fluffy Too, Hook-A-Fluffy from Big Tops in the Fairground, and all three pick games together in Mix 'n' Win. Our classic Fluffy formula collection examines that shared blueprint.
Where the family breaks the pattern
Six games depart from the formula in more obvious ways.
Fluffy in Space keeps five reels and 25 lines but replaces the pick bonus with a respin feature: three or more Nellie symbols split the five reels into 15 individual reels and award three free spins, with each new Nellie adding a spin and holding in place. Eyecon lists it at a single 96% return to player.
Fluffy Favourites Megaways changes the engine entirely. Eyecon lists it as a 6x6 Megaways game with cascades, a multiplier that grows with each cascade and medium volatility, at 95%.
Fluffy Fishin' has 10 paylines rather than 25, a fishing feature in which Net symbols collect values shown on Fish symbols during free games, and five return-to-player options from 88% to 96%. Eyecon names its wild as Nellie the Pink Elephant, and it is the only Fluffy game on Eyecon's site without a Play Demo link.
Fluffy Favourites 10 keeps the original's two features but pays on ten fixed lines instead of 25.
Whack A Fluffy is listed as a 3x5 game with 25 ways; its Whack-A-Fluffy pick game starts from Mallets and is described with a potential of up to 500 times the stake.
Fluffy Favourites Clawmania uses 20 lines and medium volatility, with a Claw that adds Elephant symbols to the reels and free games set by a wheel of spins and multipliers.
How to use this information
If you know one classic Fluffy game, you already understand most of the other four: read the pick bonus section and you have the difference. For the outliers, expect to learn new rules; each has its own review on our Fluffy Favourites games page. Fluffy Too and Fluffy in Space compared shows the contrast between a classic-formula game and an outlier side by side, and the series comparison lists every title in one table.
Conclusion
Eyecon built the Fluffy family on a recognisable base: five reels, 25 lines, a doubling elephant, a pick bonus and free games with tripled wins. Five titles vary only the pick bonus, Fluffy Favourites 10 and Whack A Fluffy adjust the frame or the pick game's scale, and Fluffy in Space, the Megaways edition, Clawmania and Fluffy Fishin' change the rules more deeply.
